Evangelical ministries
The purpose of an evangelical ministry is to “spread the word” of the gospel, in other words to evnagelize. Some go it alone but this is very hard so many try to set up an evangelical ministry. This requires determination and a lot of faith and this may well require that you have attended biblecollege although this is not a pre-requisite. In order to start a ministry you would need to obtain legal covering and be able to define your mission statement or vision. You will then need to recruit like minded staff who share that vision because you will need help to fundraise. Primarily the goal is to understand and meet the demands and needs of your community and to build and foster relationships within it. You will need to find somewhere to preach so renting a building or even setting up a tent in more rural areas will be required. You can become an ordained Evangelical minister by completing an internship within a seminary and you can then apply for a post as an evangelical ministry once graduated. There are websites that will allow you to navigate round the last requirement and you can go online and literally be ordained online however if your calling is very strong and your desire to spread the word is important to you then this is perhaps not the best path to choose. If you are not sure that this is your calling look for volunteer opportunities to minister and this will help you gain valuable experience to decide if this is the right path for you.
